Laurin VanBeukering was born and raised in Grand Haven, Michigan. She attended Central Michigan University and received a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Interior Design. While in college, Laurin double minored in Art and Construction Management, and studied ADA Design and Intergenerational Living abroad in Beijing, China. Shortly after, Laurin started her own interior design firm specializing in space management and kitchen design. After starting her company, she went back to school at Grand Valley State University to improve her knowledge and skillset in business management.
Laurin’s vast experience gives her an upper hand in understanding the importance of art in our culture, and taught her how to be creative and innovative when designing installations and making selections to complement home styles. Laurin loves a challenge and always looks forward to invigorating opportunities that allow her to problem solve and visualize the big picture.
