Sunserae A. Smith is Managing Director and art advisor between artists, collectors, family offices, banking institutions and asset managers and commercial properties. She specializes in wealth preservation and wealth growth along with collection management services.
Previously, Ms. Smith was an asset manager for private clients globally. She has participated in dialogues with government officials, policymakers and experts analyzing long-term economic, environmental and social trends in emerging markets through quantitative analyses of complex data. Ms. Smith was a senior associate for JP Morgan Chase & Co.’s Sustainable Finance and Global Philanthropy teams. She was the National deputy finance director for Cory Booker and the Booker Team for Newark, New Jersey. Ms. Smith graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley’s (CAL’s) College of Environmental Design and was a member of the nationally ranked division I women’s lacrosse team. She also holds a Master’s in Public Administration in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. In 2022 Ms. Smith was named CAL’s Cub of the Year. She is on the New York board of Harlem Lacrosse and a member of Arkive and a16z Cultural Leadership Fund’s The Black Digital Art Collective.
